The wealth of experience spans various sectors such as Insurance and financial services, consultancy, ISO/QMS auditing, policy and advocacy, trade fairs, exhibitions, business education, services, and training, among others. A holder of M.Sc, MCIPM, HRPL, FITD, FCILG, FIMC, FIMS, MNIM, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate with in-depth knowledge and professional skills in Organizational Development, HR/Business Analysis, ISO 9001:2015 standard, Statutory and regulatory requirements, Odoo ERP, Human Manager software, D-Track. Odoo ERP.

He worked at CETEP City University before joining Servtrust Group as the Group Head of Human Resources, a position he held for about eight and half years until he was appointed the Head of Human Resources of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce, and Industry. He is the general manager of the human resources, administration, and quality management system of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As the Management Representative of the Quality Management System, he championed the certification of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry by Bureau Veritas Certification, an international and reputable certifying body for Quality Management Systems.

HIGHLIGHTS OF KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • He coordinated the Quality Management System of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry project for the attainment of ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
  • Coordinated a team of ISO auditors and QMS promoters to ensure the standardization of processes for all the departments in the organization. These include (but are not limited to) policies on operations of the trade promotion department, financial control and processes, human resources, administration, and other associated matters.
  • Developed Corporate Quality Objectives for the Chamber and guide the Heads of Departments in developing Departmental Process Manuals and Process Performance Indicators and targets.
  • Developed Job Competency Framework/Requirements Document
  • Developed the Quality Policy
  • Developed the Human Resources Process Manuals (SOP) and reviewed the Departmental Process Manuals (SOP)in the Organization in line with international standard.
  • Developed Employees Handbook for the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Developed Job Descriptions for all employees in collaboration with HODs organization-wide.
  • Transformed and improved processes through the introduction of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) within the organization.
    Championed the development of a comprehensive Strategic Plan and direction for the Chamber.
  • Introduced a biometrics device for attendance management.

Mrs Comfort Ojurayo is a self-motivated and Self self-driven professional with Problem-Solving, Leadership, Strong Negotiation, Time Management & Multi-Tasking, and Good Communication& Interpersonal Skills.

Head, Human Resources and Administration (August 1, 2020, till Date) where she Oversees the activities of the employees in the Human Resources and Administration Department, oversees and manages the performance appraisal system that drives high performance, defines unit goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) tract and monitor KPIs and develop appropriate intervention as may be required. Before her appointment, she was Human Resources/Admin Coordinator (2015-2020), and Marketing/ Client Service Officer with Roding Health HMO (2013-2015).

Comfort worked with Anchor HMO International Company Limited as a Client Service Officer from 2011 to 2013 before joining Roding HMO. She worked as a Checking/Internal Control Officer with the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation from 2005 to 2007 as an intern.
